Oh, and Nerd, try an adjustable shoehorn.

Just be aware that there are restrictions to x day moves such as reserves available vs required and 24 in 7 for domestic. There are many ways to try and get what you want. Others more up on it can explain the nuances. (sp?)

Thanks.

Now I'm there and it does not make much sense. How are we to fill it out?

That screen is possibly the most poorly designed template on the whole DeltaNet. Its ridiculous.

You have to fill out 4 squares to move one day or one set of days.
Moving a group of days is pretty easy. ie - 04May-07May to 10May-13May.
Moving a single day is kinda confusing. ie - you have to say 04May-04May to 07May-07May.

After you hit submit, the software will tell you if your request breaks any rules.
The most common is "Violates X-Day Grouping Requirements".

After a PCS run (3 times daily), you can see if your request was granted.
That's where you see the famous -- "DENIED. CAPPED RESERVE DAYS" -- anytime reserves req'd exceeds reserves avail.

Jonhnso, I can't keep up. Are you off the 9 and on something else?

Came back to the 320 in Feb, but I've got some classmates/friends still on the DC9 that I talk to a lot. The DC9 through ATL info I got from a DC9 FO on my commute this morning. He showed me his pattern.

The easiest way to do this is tell me what days do you want to move and where do you want to move them to?

I want to move the 28th, 29th and 30th to any other time in the month. Moving them to 19th, 20th and 21st lor 25th 26th and 27th also works.

Thanks by the way!

No kidding. I need to dust off my Commodore 64 to work the program.

If and when we hire, where will the new hires go? I'll doubt we will see a repeat of last time with all us newbies going right to the ER. Will it be the 9 or will the undermanned 320 be the entry level?

Okay, start at the first block on the template for the first choice under "from" put 28apr then 30apr the "TO" is right next to it and put in 19apr then 21 apr. Then under priorty 2 put your 28apr then 30apr and next to it put 25apr then 27apr. and so on for all of your choices.

The reason there are more lines in each priority is that you can try to move multiple groups of xdays at once. This, of course is much harder to do!

Again, be aware of all the restrictions such as 24 in 7 etc.

Hope this helps. Any time!!!!:)

Let me know if it works.

Denny

Yep, that's my middle name, or names. My wife even calls me that on occasion.
