Your new pay rate starts June 1. The conversion just means that you are no longer able to fly in your old category and you can't fly until you are qualified in your new category.

I also heard this recently from a pretty good source...

Don't forget to bid for June too even though you don't have OE done you will be bid qualified.

“Bid-qualified pilot” means a pilot who has completed or is projected to complete all training, except for OE, prior to the first day of the bid period.

Suppose we do hire. Where will the FNGs go? Will the AEs of may and fall dictate that?

SIDE QUESTION:

How do I insert a preference into my AE bid without re-listing everything behind it.

I think you put an I over the first number of the bid you want the new bid to be and hit enter, should move everything down one spot and leave an empty place for you to put the new bid in.

So since the Alaska brand is so popular, maybe this will work after the merger?
