Hey folks,

Just had the interview this week. The gouge is still good. It isn't dead nuts on, but it's about at close as you can get. Yes, they know about the gouge. They metioned they're thinking about changing it, but prob not much and prob not too soon. Take that for what it's worth.

I have to be honest, it was prob one of the best interview processes i've been through. All the people are professional and easy to get to know. They really do put you a ease. If you guys have any questions, feel free to fire away. Good luck....

Sure SEDPA and everyone else for that matter. I'm a military guy with about 8000 hrs TT. 3000 in the C-130 and 4000 121 time. 2500 turbine PIC. Applied right away when they opened the door in Jan/Feb. Had my resume walked in a few months after that. Took the interview a few days ago. Great experience. Like I said the gouge is pretty much right on, but not perfect. It's really a very good interview. They hired 5 out of 8 in my class. All very good people. Delta is truly a class act. They really have it all together. Good luck

Here are the new hire openings for 1 September to 2 March 08.

ATL73NF/O - 60
ATLM88F/O - 195
NYCM88F/O - 10

There are openings in CVG, SLC and LAX too, but none listed for new hires. You could probably get to LAX, or SLC next bid since these positions are within 100 to 150 numbers from the bottom now. CVG is about 1,000 numbers from the bottom and I don't have a feel for where that might go.

That is 265 openings over the next 6 months.
