Congrats! Hiring has been wicked crazy around Delta. I am an 18Jun07 hire. When we started they said they would have 40 new hires a month until the end of the year. Then, before we finished indoc Delta said they are ramping up hiring to 50 a month through the end of the year. I think there are 75 new hires scheduled for August. The rumor is 75 a month through Nov. so they can take Dec off for the holidays. Then, they will ramp back up to 50 in Jan. You are getting in at the right time. See ya 'round the schoolhouse! P-funk. I published my info o nthe airline apps site on May 1 and got called 3 weeks later. The long part for me was between offer and ok to train. It was 5 weeks and now another 3 before class. I think it depends on who is on vacation when.

They will be hiring 75 per month until November, at which time they will reevaluate their needs. From what I am told they wanted to hire enough to avoid December classes if possible, and then ramp way up in 08
