Anybody out there can look at the "Will fly for food" website as the gouge there is still current. I also have some additional stuff that circulated from person to person via email.

P-funk. I published my info o nthe airline apps site on May 1 and got called 3 weeks later. The long part for me was between offer and ok to train. It was 5 weeks and now another 3 before class. I think it depends on who is on vacation when.

How junior is LAX for Delta? What DOH? Does anyone get it out of class? What is the flying like out there on the 757/767? How about the 767ER?

Got the OK to Train email today!!! Interviewed 1 week ago! They are tracking along quickly. Anyone know if there are still spots available in any Aug Classes, or will I still be looking at Sep? Can't wait to start :D

Awesome Dude! I would say if you don't get a call by the first part of next week (6-7Aug) you will probably be in the first Sept class. Now it could have changed because of the numbers increasing, but I was told Delta likes to call with a class date about 21 days prior to starting. I was called "3 weeks" prior to my start date. Hope I did not let the air out of your balloon for that August class, but they keep increasing class sizes so it could all be changing. Plus, Delta is fine tuning their hiring program so it may be quicker. It took me over two weeks to get cleared to train. I did not even get a "cleared to train" email. And I thought the hiring process was pretty fast. Has anyone else heard different? I would tell the new hire coordinator you are available on a moments notice when he calls. I think you are really going to like it here! I have enjoyed it from day one!

Yes, I believe that Guard Dude is correct via my experience. I was offered the interview pretty quickly. There were 4 guys my first day offered to go to day 2. 2 of those guys got the call for class offers in two weeks. One guy got the psych letter at 2 weeks and a couple days. I heard nothing for another week. There was a big hold up of 17 guys from medical. Most likely a paperwork issue. I was given a month notice of the Aug 6 class.

I have a couple of friends that have interviewed since I have and the times seem to be pushed up a week. Some of this may also be how fast the Pria stuff comes back from your other job.
