I got the new hat brass & wings on Tuesday. I like the 2 different reds, I think it looks sharp. It's going to take a little bit for me to get used to the blazer & name tags though. ;)

I just wish that the wings were a little more 3 dimensional . I like the way ours are now. But, marketing drove this one.

Yeah, the wings are a little weak. I do think the hat brass stands out very nice. It looked great once I got it on the hat.

Speaking of...

Before I stick my fingers with this sharp object I will call my hat impaler, are we supposed to just push the emblem thru the material in the hat? If so, I can predict the two holes that are destined to be in my index fingers. (It's not easy) Or, are there supposed to be 3 holes in my hat?

Same question for the jacket. I hate to push holes in a coat I paid $275 for. I can just picture how it will look in a few years. Does Abbotts put holes in your jacket if you request them?

.....and I think it would have been better if our wings were screw on like our old NWA ones. I think they should be a bit more secure.

In regards to the hat, I just pushed the 2 posts through the material. I didnt see any other way to get it on there. ;) I used the little plastic brace in the hat as a guide. I too was weary of impaling my fingers, but you can just brace the hat by spreading your index & middle finger on the backside putting the post right in between them.

I have the M&H Blazer, & it has wing holes in it so I can't help you there. Sorry, & good luck. ;) :D

Well the hole in the center of the hat is for the center post. The two top guide pins just go though. Just make sure that you take the foam out of the way first. Once they are though just put the backs on them. You will be good to go. Just remember that we do not wear the new lettuce until After the end of the month.

They told us March 30th. Oh well, close enough. :D
