There has been no, zip, zero, nada discussion of trading scope for pay. I heard a rumor today. Reasonably intelligent pilots were getting spun up about things that haven't happened and aren't contemplated to happen. They're worried about scope sales when the company is hiring to staff a growing mainline operation. I can't possibly believe that could be true, especially since we've been through the Bucking Bar/Ad Lib and Slowplay show before (twice). To all...make your input to your elected reps if you want to seek to maintain or cancel a flow with Compass and/or Mesaba. They will be the ones that direct what happens. The sky is not falling. Carl |

The question is not whether the flow stays or not. The question IS: If the flow is cancelled, will our MEC enforce our contract that REQUIRES a reduction in 76 seaters?? If our MEC decides not to enforce it and allow management to continue operating the current number of 76 seaters, would you consider that a scope sale??
Carl I'm sure the company is going to come to us for relief on the 76 seat issue. The loads are up, demand appears to be recovering and the last thing the company wants to do (while they are on a roll so to speak) is to take seats out of the system. Yes, I know we have MD-90s coming. But, enough fast enough? I say "let them eat cake" JMHO Ferd |

1 of 2 ways, either click that yellow box above (rigt below the undo and redo arrows) and paste your pictures internet address or write IMG and then paste your internet address and then write /IMG again but now put brackets [ ] around the IMGs. If I do it now it goofs up this sentence so just remember [ ] around the IMGs. If it didn't work, just know most pictures should end in a .jpg or .gif or what have you, if there is anything after the .jpg or .gif then erase it and re-preview and see if it works. Or pull a FTB and just hit SUBMIT REPLY HA HA HA, and then find out it doesn't work and scramble to correct it. Carl |

I truly hope we keep a Flow-up and Flow-down provision. It is good for all pilots. Anybody can fly these airplanes. The question is; "Can they fly them safely and efficiently with good customer service??"
