Is it bad that I get more accurate info on this forum than I do by calling DALPA?

I'm pretty sure the regular PCS runs are all done by computer.
The morning reserve/same day/next day trip assignments still have a human component.

Ah, sorry I didn't mention I was trying GS for the first time, I guess that puts me on the "human" side of the equation. Also added a question after you answered, you are too fast. ;)

Question for you Reserve experts. If a SC list is not published until after 3PM EDT, is anyone obligated to be on short call.

Bar is flying his six off and trying to flip a few houses this summer. I called to see why he is not around and that is what he told me. It took me four phone calls to finally get a hold of him

Base time. Only if you are coming off a off day does 1500 matter. They can convert you with 10 hrs notice any time during your reserve period.

Max-
That list has no meaning under the contract. Its really for "reference" only.
Its what is on your schedule that counts.

King-
You're correct about GS involving the human touch.
Your second answer is - - "date range" means the entire duration of the rotation you are requesting. Not just day one.
ie = if you only put in a green slip with a 3 day range then they will not award you a 4 day green slip. And then when it gets to be the 2nd day of your "range" you are in effect asking for 2 or 1 day trips only. Ditto for the last day - you'd only be asking for 1 day trips. They won't award a trip that goes out of your range. Hope I explained that OK.
