A week ago, I also had an ASA CA on the jump. He said things very similar to what you posted.

He's disappeared hasn't he? Didn't he mention a baby was on the way a while ago? Maybe it came. But that'd mean he'd be up for the last hours of the Clamp show.

I wish I had Mega Desk to keep up with all of the multiple threads and forums on this one subject.

Anyone know if you can have two different sets of parameters for slip requests.

Example can I make Choice #3 a "Must begin with deadhead" and make choice #4 without that restriction?

Enter two different WS requests. The first with the DH and the second without.

Hostages. Delta traditionally hires going into contract negotiations. Then at the table they reverse and say "we'll have to furlough if you get xxx." Sometimes they make good on those threats, especially if they have an alter ego plan B to replace the junior Delta pilots.

Blame 9/11, SARS, Fuel Prices, or SIDS. ... but look at the historical patterns. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

We are almost 3 years away from the end of this contract. Besides Delta has as far as I know only had pilots on furlough once during section 6 negotiations. I would not call that tradition.

Do the schedulers have to filter my requests manually or does the computer do it for them?

Edit: When it asks for Date Range for requested flying, does it want only the date of departure or the actual range of days covering the entire rotation?
