btw, the video of the 747 has been yanked. A part of my wifes job is copyright issues and occasionally she has to pull unauthorized youtube videos down. You just have to be authorized and then you send them a message and down it comes. I'm guessing Delta got that yanked... and thats a good thing. A really good thing.

One really wonders what went wrong????????

thats my bet.

Yep... when you're sitting that high up aircraft movement is difficult to detect until you're already going pretty good.

Carl wouldn't have done that, though. The airplane knows better than to move when he doesn't COMMAND it to.

P.S. I got my viking helmet tonight. It makes household chores so much easier with the added power and ferocity. I hear newK's head was the inspiration for such badassery.

Yes they are and the video is good enough quality to see the RP on a flight pushing in the Beacon Circuit Breaker after the flight had been blocked out for 90 minutes waiting for deice and clearance to push.

I know. Just reiterating the point. ;)

I think some people forget that sometimes.

I'm glad they watch and listen, serves a better purpose in the end. Think about it, many of the gripes and complaints we've had over the years have been fixed (realistically because of representation not, APC). But I think it gives them a snapshot into the line pilot's opinion about the operation, which 99.9% of us have a vested interest in. We are all very fortunate in this regard.

Guess we should put these up in the windows then.
