Football thoughts: College football is over for many here in Georgia today. Minnesota lost to South Dakota? I mean Minnesoota lost to South Dakota, eh? :D

Airline thoughts:

1. On Thursday, Delta announced a code-share with Hawaiian(HA), the principal Hawaiian carrier.

2. And on Friday, Bloomberg quoted sources as saying that China Airlines, Taiwan's biggest airline, has agreed to join the Skyteam alliance headed by Delta and Air France-KLM.

3. Also, I sure hope every pilot here has the fortitude, if in the back of the plane, to stand up and tackle any playboy model trying to open a door in flight:

A playboy model was detained on Thursday after she reportedly suffered from an anxiety attack and tried to open the door of an airplane. Problem was, the plane was mid-flight. (via the New York Post)

Tiffany Livingston, 21, was the debut centerfold for Singapore's version of Playboy and, according to the Post, had admitted to suffering from anxiety in the past. Once her JetBlue flight was en route to Newark, N.J. from Orlando, Fla., that anxiety apparently struck again, and she "bolted from her seat" and headed for the exit.

You really don't want to fly with guys that do this. Back when I flew with the same crew all month I got stuck with Captain puppet-man. He had Jar Jar Binks and Buzz Lightyear puppets. When he signaled for engine start he would hold up the Jar Jar Binks doll and in his best Jar Jar accent he would say, Meesa start numba one. At first it was funny watching the rampers reaction. After a month I wanted to shoot myself. Another stunt of his was to ask if you wanted to see his pride and joy. Then he'd open his wallet and show you a picture of some dish soap...Pride and Joy.

Rock on brother!

Thanks T, wilco! I love being on with Dennis Miller. He cracks me up. I was on his TV show once when he had one.

Cheers

In the scheme of things George, it is nothing.

I would not want to be the Ramp Controller that dubbed that recording and posted it thought.

thats my bet.

You're amazing FTB. That is exactly what happened.

The good news...nobody hurt and the airplane only had to have one nose tire replaced. The tug had to go to the emergency room though. :D

PS. Delta, if you make me a -400 captain like Carl, you buy my silence forever. (Well, for a long time. :) )

PS. Delta, if you make me in my thirties again (like NewK) instead of my fifties, you can give him my seat. (Well, lend it out for a while :D).
