Whats wrong with the SNA layover? It used to be a nice hotel, and food.

I don't mind that layover either. If anybody likes to jog or just walk, there is a really nice trail system that goes all around the Newport Bay behind the hotel.

On call 8 days this month so far but now i'm working 9...I wasnt used on 1 of my reserve days though. This month so far i've done 2 three days, a Short call, and a day trip (now a 2 day) into my golden days and its only the 11th

I thought they couldn't fly you into your golden days. I've got a lot to learn about reserve. What do you get if they do? A golden paycheck, I hope?

It finally accepted my bid. It only took 10 tires.

Well, there's your problem right there. It's a computer program, not a vehicle...

Or, maybe it tired of you messing with it, and just gave up....;)

i got nothing but my time restored  Since "re-route" made the change after i checked in for my deviated deadhead i dont get any added pay. I thought they couldnt do it either but apparently our golden days dont mean much.

I could have told them no and gone home but i'd already deviated from my deadhead to start the trip and was in position.

That is what you get for posting on the fly. (Also no sleep for about 36 hrs)

Had i gone home they'd have been screwed because there werent anymore flights into where we're at and my CA would have been here with no FO till later tomorrow. They rolled my CA's day off too for this but his wasnt a golden day.

I had to rush to find childcare for my boys tomorrow though which really put me in a bind. Its crap that we dont get extra pay for something like this.

In the end it worked out in my favor though

Agreed it worked out better for you, but whats crummy is so long as we don't exercise our options, making them go the extra distance, nothing will change. Whats the purpose of having "golden days," even they mean nothing, I'm sure you bid those days for a reason.
