I'll be honest. I prefer the old NWA paperwork, but the DAL stuff is working just fine. While the 2 releases was handy on the DC9 I see guys just write down the info they need before the flight. In the 320 I just print out a second WDR & write on that. It really works just fine. Really not a big deal IMO.

I'd really be screwed because I'm not trained on how to use one of those big wheeled fire extinguishers you see outside on the ramp!!!

Got a question... I'm a NYC based F.O. on the -88. I finished my -90 training last week and aircrew records has recorded my code into DBMS. I know we won't start flying the -90 in NY for another month, but can I now pick up trips in CVG and MSP?

I'm not sure why you are getting your royally chewed..... I have been here over 15 years and never had a word said to me.

I'm glad that you at least signed this as a rant.

None of us northies blame southies for any of this. We northies know that you guys are just line pilots like the rest of us. Mostly we're just dejected that even the smallest change takes a very long time, and that management seems to have the idea that if it wasn't invented in ATL, then it ain't happening.

None of that is a south guy's fault, and none of us are saying that.

I can't ever recall a memo about "pay slipping"...... Maybe they all got swiped from my DTW mailbox.

This board is rapidly becoming a meaningless schoolyard drama fest. I suggest that ALL involved parties take their name calling and ego trips to another thread created for that purpose. This thread is almost dead if you delete the hissy fits. KNOCK IT OFF!!!

Agree to disagree and move on.

Where is the information about the Sept A/E?

On some jetways the ground AC unit supplies cool air to the jetway as well as supplying the aircraft hook-up hose. So having it turned on but not hooked up to the jet isn't quite as odd as it may seem.
