Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Deflecting is something I never do. Most blunt people are considered blunt because they get right to the point. You're the first I've heard use the word "deflected" and "blunt" in the same paragraph.
And for the rercord, I started no argument. I replied to prior posts about this topic and gave my opinion that the situation was well in the hands of our reps. Pay attention next time - before you scream headlines about me starting an argument.

You still don't get it... Not one single person on these baords has anything to do with the decisions that were/will be made wrt operations, yet you and Carl continually blame the south guys for it. I don't care that we don't have 2 "releases" of the flight plan. I didn't make that decision, and frankly I don't see the benefit even if I were to make it... but I digress. You wanna stop the whiner label, then quit blaming the south line pilots for all your woes.

I'll be honest. I prefer the old NWA paperwork, but the DAL stuff is working just fine. While the 2 releases was handy on the DC9 I see guys just write down the info they need before the flight. In the 320 I just print out a second WDR & write on that. It really works just fine. Really not a big deal IMO.

Got a question... I'm a NYC based F.O. on the -88. I finished my -90 training last week and aircrew records has recorded my code into DBMS. I know we won't start flying the -90 in NY for another month, but can I now pick up trips in CVG and MSP?

None of us northies blame southies for any of this. We northies know that you guys are just line pilots like the rest of us. Mostly we're just dejected that even the smallest change takes a very long time, and that management seems to have the idea that if it wasn't invented in ATL, then it ain't happening.
None of that is a south guy's fault, and none of us are saying that.

This board is rapidly becoming a meaningless schoolyard drama fest.
I suggest that ALL involved parties take their name calling and ego trips to another thread created for that purpose. This thread is almost dead if you delete the hissy fits. KNOCK IT OFF!!!Agree to disagree and move on.
Where is the information about the Sept A/E?

IMHO, if you're at a DAL base, in this case DTW, and its 94 frikkin degrees, and you pull into the gate, and the rampers TURN ON THE AIR but decide not to HOOK IT UP, its a little troubling. Happened to me twice last week. So, the air's going while the hose remains nicely coiled and doing nothing. .
