I could see a bit of a issue in ATL, JFK, LGA and LAX as the ramps are already congested and each aircraft taking another one or two minutes stopped in the alley won't help.

Have not watched the video yet,but didn't SD's note say the numbers will come D+3 and before taxi.I take that to mean you don't start taxi if you don't have the numbers.

No, I believe it should be sent NLT than departure + 3, I do not think there was a prohibition on taxi.

I can dream, can't I?

Hey guys, long time lurker first time poster! Always enjoyed everone's insight, and humor. Except FTB, that dude is way too serious.

Quick question. I will be deviating from deadhead on the back end of an international trip. I can't change it until I sign in, but my question is basically which class of service can I book, or does it even give me a choice. I know we can't book first or business for domestic, and then take your chances on deadhead, but since we are required to have business for an international deadhead should I just book business if it gives me the choice.

Thanks guys, in advance!

I'm 99% certain icrew will give you the option to book business as long as your dh flight is international. As a matter of fact, you can select 1st class for a domestic dh, but when you go to submit it it will tell you only coach is allowed because it's domestic.

As an LA guy who flies to JFK and ATL almost exclusively, DAL will become the most hated airline out there and I'll be biting my tongue every time. It'll be embarassing.

Change the procedure, get the numbers after the push, fine, but let us plug it in on the roll. We can handle it, we do it all the time. What world do these folks think we operate in? IAD in the simulator would be my guess.

^^^^^^^^THIS^^^^^^^^^ is right on the money. Excellent post:D

J29 is correct. If you look at the flight you choose it will show in the far right side what class you are OK for. It will always say OK in Y for a domestic flight. Remember that for a flight over 3:45 it is a window or an isle. Put those preferences in when booking and you should be fine.

Flights that are considered an Ocean Crossing allow booking in FC just like what is required for a INTL DH per the PWA.

Happy DV8ing :D

FtB is truly a genius that has way to much time on his hands.

It will be positive, but not as positive as we have been thinking. No 777 vacancies.

Well if that is the case, it is a change, but it will have significant upward movement.
