You sure you don't mean Delco? The LTN-92 could hold a lot of waypoints. The Delco was old when I started using it in the military...

I think the LTN-92 held 99 waypoints if I remember correctly. The only flight I ever remember even comming close to the limit was AMS-KWI. Lots of waypoints.

The first time someone has a runway incursion, or nicks a wingtip on something, if you think DAL will give the WINK, WINK because you were inputing FMS data on the roll, you're kidding yourself.

Absolutely correct. When the NTSB is saying the primary cause of the most recent incidents is failure of the Flt. Crew to manage distractions and disruptions also the Monitoring Pilot to actively monitor... You'll be on very thin ice if you're doing anything but sitting still while inputting the numbers.

Sorry but it only held 9 waypoints but you may have had the super premium widebody version.;)

At our Instructor meeting last week, they said ACS was tired getting all the blame for the delayed D0. So... They came up with this plan. Flt Ops tried to explain the problems, but were overruled. The sentiment with the executives was that we (pilots) weren't doing anything at all during the push back other than just along for the ride. Ken Speir got shot down trying to explain, so Flt Ops is just going to let the congestion and delays happen--ACS idea--ACS problem.

Hey, ya gotta let the chips fall where they may. It has never been a flt crew problem but to try and tell them that is like beating your head on the wall. Now they will see.:D

Hey, well at least we'll make some money out of this deal, right? It's nice to be paid by the hour!
