This configuration is idiotic. It amazes me how a few months ago we were being told how important "high priority" customers are and then they do this. Actions speak louder than words. Why don't we just take out the galleys, all the first class seats, and put 145 coach seats in the 319's like some other airlines out there?

Question...how is the pay figured for a divert...eg ATL to AMS with a divert into BOS than continuing on to AMS. Thx

Get a copy of your pairing. As far as I know you should be paid block out to block in for both legs. That is assuming it's a hard time trip. If it's a trip credit trip even with the divert welllllllll......you still get the trip credit.:o

These types of things perplex me. I want to depart on time and arrive on time or early and give the passenger the best experience possible. Then something like this comes along. The ship needs to shape up or heads need to start rolling in areas where the break downs are happening. To me this is a basic break down that should be traceable to someone who did not do their job. What's going on here????????????

Add

By the way, I really hate the add at the bottom of the post. It almost makes me want to quit reading this forum.

The admins are aware of the add and trying to deal with it. It is a spamer again.

If you hate ads, use Firefox and download the add-on Adblock Plus. It'll speed up your page loads and get rid of unwanted banner ads. Works great! I was wondering what that extra blank box was at the bottom of the pages.

Funny you should say that. While JC will not be affected by the Comair flush, his son will be. JC Junior just came back from furlough and will probably be furloughed again soon enough.

I don't know either one of them, so if you get your jollies from that sort of irony... you're welcome.

Too bad for the other 900 pilots (myself included) who thought going to an airline with a strong union was a good idea.
