Taking on corrupt politicians in the airline industry? Hmm, seems like a perfect lead in for:

It's the first our first epic high fantasy movie and follow up to the smash action hit "Mission Incredulous, Tokyo Mole" and the comedy "Planes, Planes and More Planes, the Cross Country Adventures of ACL, 80ktsclamp and the Dog from Bin 1"

Most of the this has been addressed already, but I thought I'd throw this out... I think the 747 is showing up in the advertising just because it is such a distinctive and recognizable jet, and a darn photogenic one at that. Take your average passenger and ask him to ID any of the other jets and I'd bet that most of them wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a 76/77/330, at least not a first glance. As good as they are, they just don't have a lot of visual appeal. Don't even get me started on the 380!

The 747 is still relevant. Boeing is testing the 747-800 and Asian heavy hitters like Cathay rely heavily upon that airframe (and the 777-300). Furthermore, when they are devalued to some point it is my understanding the BCF makes a great freight machine. The 747-200 was long in the tooth, but maybe the -400 will someday allow the 747 to re-enter the airline cargo world.

The 744 is heavily used in the cargo world. Ask UPS, Atlas, Word, Polar, Air France, Cathay Pacific, and others.

I say this bid is a total wildcard for the bottom 300 or so. I fear the seniority and displacements in SLC will leave a dust cloud until the next batch of retirements.

Well it looks to me like MSP M88 should ramp up & NYC will wind down....and who knows how SLC 767 converting to 7ER will change things. So I have no freaking clue what to do.

I'd say the troll is LaHood and friends. :D

You now officially gallop in on a 9, not fly.

You ever taxi on taxiway Whiskey up here in Detroit? Or, land on 21L before they fixed it? We gallop all the time up here. :)

Forecasted staffing in all of the M88B bases went down compared to last bid. This month in CVG, we have 83 bodies for an estimated 45 lines! Should be a fairly slow month on reserve...:) Looks like the backfill in NYC and CVG will be the lowest in the 88 system. When will MSP get up and going? I'm northbound in December so I hope soon!

The SLC 7ER positions were equal to the SLC 767 displacements, also.

Could some of the experts out there classify this as a xs,s,m,l,xl,xxl in terms of AEs and the size of this based on 12000 pilots. It is positive and good but seems a little on the small side. I could be totally wrong here as I do not have a good basis for judging the size of this AE.
