Very good presentation on SWA & AirTran, as well as several pages on Delta's competitiveness.

A point you can glean from these numbers is how important LGA is for Delta and AirTran. As much as the focus has been on SWA and Delta in Atlanta, SWA real prize is New York.
Now there is no reason for the DOT to continue to block our slot swap. Further, the DOT now has to deal with SWA having 90% of BWI and around 70% of MCO. So far, LaHood has not said a "cluck."

LGA should be done tomorrow they no longer have a leg to stand on. (Not that they ever did)

Well that blows. I start my commute to DTW from ATL next month. I guess I'll have to call the CPO in the morning for clarification. If it is the case, we need to look at this. I've never heard of a conditional parking spot at any other airport. This sounds like another case of spanking us all for a few people that can't follow the rules on SIDA entry.
Here's the deal - the landside parking for commuters is on the "wink and nod" system.
The TSA apparently doesn't have a problem because it does not bypass security.
As long as commuters aren't using the airside lot, the feds don't care.
If there's no security issue, it doesn't matter to them if you ride to the terminal on an employee bus or a commercial parking lot bus or the back of a Harley. What's the difference?
That leaves Delta management.
Its a gray area with the company. Please don't force the issue. Just be discrete and don't abuse it.
A lot of ATL commuters would be upset if you ended up causing strict enforcement.

Really?
My point was that there are no more arguments that can be made. It should for all intents and purposes be a rubber stamp. Of course we know the government will more than likely not move like that and will most likely wait until after the SWA/AAI deal is approved to move on ours.

Sorry. Couldn't resist!!!
Please don't call the CPO. You don't want to hear the answer.
