We have the approaches published in our Jeppesen kits, marked as "JetBlue" above the designator (22-0-1), AND they are in our opspecs. That's what makes us "special". It's not that uncommon for airlines to develop and be approved for their own approaches in certain places (Alaska, for example, pioneered all sorts of RNP up in their neck of the woods).

UT looks like they might be better than USC.

Now that would be a bowl game....
I shouldn't even be talking to you because you are a gator fan.. but it sounds as if you are merely a bandwagon fan.. or saying that just to twist the knife in my heart... but I'm OK with that.. but I find it sad. Pick a side.

Florida lost.. and will lose again this season. at least 2.. maybe 3 more times. They are very mortal and very beatable without Tebow. Apparently nobody told their OC that he was gone. bwaaa haa haaaa The sad thing is that they will go to the Sugar Bowl unless somebody sneaks up on Bama and takes them out of the NC picture. yeah right. So a 4 loss team goes to the Sugar Bowl. Saban will own Meyer in years to come.. so will Dooley. Mark it down. (UT has 18 TRUE freshmen on the 2 deep and played LSU to the 1 yard line before we forgot how to count)

Lane Kiffin isn't half the coach (not to mention the human being) that Derick Dooley is. JMHO.

Good ole Rocky Top! wooooooo

Edit: oh, and while I am thinking about it, I don't blame Lane K for going to USC. As I think I have said before, if I were coaching at Notre Dame and UT called with the offer, there would be a fire trail out of South Bend. It was just that UT fans all bought in to him as bringing our program back and we felt betrayed. I'm over it, but I still hope he fails miserably.

So under what conditions were these approaches tested and apparently approved by the FAA? And... if they are FAA approved approaches, why haven't they been made public?

Ts,

I have liked Florida since E. Smith and Neil Anderson. The only time I've ever rooted against them was when they Played Nebraska for the national championship in 1995,6. I have picked as best I could.

Back in the late 80's I worked for a regional outfit that flew throughout the Rockies, we had several of our own approaches.

Exactly. It was a struggle to watch the entire thing.

It does show they're anything but transparent. Who's running, exactly?

Some people think it was justifiable to roll out a website without any clear identity on the backers (I don't buy it). This continues the effort, all focused on tapping into our legitimate anger, for the purpose of satisfying someone's appetite for power. Again.

Strike 2.

Move this to the other thread: this thread is not just about the latest, but the greatest. DPA doesn't qualify.

T- relax, we've got nearly all custom plates for Tegucigalpa and a pile of custom charts elsewhere. (edit: no other airlines have these. Look it up on the Jeppviewer. Notice how the waypoints are names of standards guys at DL.)

Also, look at your 29-0-1 and 2 charts for JFK. Custom Delta plates for RNAV visuals to 13L and R.

A lot of that RNAV RNP stuff can be done mostly (if not all) in the sims if it doesn't involve crazy terrain... TGU was done before we inaugurated service of course.

By the way, the movie "Role Models" is hilarious.

There was a sign at the shed, it basically said if you're not working then no SIDA entry and if you are non-reving or commuting then no Camp Creek Lot use. But I can't quote it word for word, I'll have to take another look.

If only they could get rid of the automatic ties ins for major and minor bowls. It sucks to watch #12 SEC vs #1 ACC, #11 SEC vs #2 Big 12, #10 SEC vs #2 Big 10, etc.

What would be fun is if someone could schedule at will, Tennessee vs USC. That'd be fun.

T, Auburn didn't have near the depth or the players of Alabama last year and it wasn't until 1:24 left in the game that Alabama scored and won by 5 after a 6 min drive. They can be beat... but not by Florida. That team has been teetering on disaster this year.

We were trained on the RNP stuff in the sim and the approaches could only be flown in VMC conditions when I was there. After so many months of looking at the data of the VMC approaches, the FAA was suppose to approve them to be flown in IMC. It took them a couple of years to get RNP 0.3 certified, but they now fly them in IMC.

FWIW, the guys going through 320 training are now being qualified on RNP 0.3 approaches. We were trained on them and told we could do them in VMC conditions if we have the approach plates (which we don't). The guys in MSP said we should have approval within a year and everyone will be trained during recurrent training.
