I also see RJET trying to get bought by a major too, but I presume no one will take the bait.

UAL is FUBAR because they outsourced their management to the Harvard Glee Club called McKensey & Co. I expect Continental's management to do a much better job.

Do you remember Ted? He looked like Carrot Top after a Vegas bender, was more offensive than Gilbert Gottfried and resulted in 1,500 employees and 97 jets getting parked. I can't find a picture of him. United must have been so humiliated they scrubbed the net.

.. an internet "Tip of the Hat" to whoever finds a TED (the Spokesfairy, not the A320) and posts it.

So if you're buzzpat this morning, you might get that lax expansion if AMR gets AS?

We need to be AS and be done with it. I'm tired of seeing pictures of our flight attendants on 737's in our bases.

Don't make me do it. So T, go get Carl, SWA is coming to town.

I wonder if we can force them to give up terminal C to make the merger go through.

Bar, agreed. We also need the NKS SA route authorities and will get one and AMR will get the other. I suspect we will get HI as well.

If I were AMR I would not want to sit tight, but it is probably the best thing they can do right now. Their had has been forced, but going after AS right now will force them to spend money they do not have.

DAL has been paying down debt way too quickly. Now does that make sense?

I'm sure that SWA would return those to Boeing in trade for some 737s. Then perhaps Boeing would offer them to DAL at a great price in compensation for the 787 delays???? Hmmmm

SWA needs to move up in capacity to cover their cost structure. The same market forces will make a hyper CASM CRJ200 more of an anachronism.
