Best plane out there. Speaking of which I hear Delta is picking up a used 757-200 on lease that is ex-Aeromexico.

I'll bet the DALPA negotiating committee would disagree as well, but I don't know that since I was not a Delta guy.

You would lose your bet.

Let's try this again, this time reading for comprehension, groundskeeper.

Carl

And you give ACL a hard time. Try to stay on topic...:p

Say what you mean, and mean what you say. And when you're wrong, admit it. Until then, you do not have my personal or professional respect. I think you do everyone a disservice.

Carl

That is your opinion and you are entitled to it. I respect that.

I get sick and tired of stating my position on each of the finer points every time I respond. Like I have said, I have no issue changing my opinion if I come in to better information.

Here's how it's done slow...You are correct and I was wrong. I incorrectly read your post as betting I didn't know about NWALPA, but you were referring to DALPA. I stand corrected.

Stark contrast to how you handle yourself when I and others prove you to be either lying or shockingly ill informed. You handle it by ignoring the post and hoping time will make people forget.

The union/management shill could learn a thing or two from the greenskeeper.

Your problem is not stating the finer points, it's that you change the clear meaning of your own printed words when a debate turns against your point. I'm not the only one that notices, and it's not flattering to you. If you really want a leadership positiion in ALPA someday, you have to learn to admit your mistakes. You NEVER do that. Instead you either change the subject or say that you were misinterpreted. We had a President that was famous for that stuff. It made people have a very low opinion of an otherwise talented politician.

Ignorance is bliss, Carl, and you seem to be a very happy man! You selected your avatar well! Didn't the gopher survive, even after the course you were hired to care for was completely destroyed?

Fitting.

Carl;
Fair enough. I do admit when I am wrong, and that generally occurs when you see a position reversal. I have also said it is OK to be on the wrong side of an issue. How many times have PG, Slow and Alfa been arguing my counter point?

As for two days ago, I was referring to the national issue that 88 was discussing not the local ones.

Frankly Carl, what you are looking for is a person that sides with you all of time. That is not me. If you look at my second post on the DPA thread, I stated that ALPA has issues, but my position is that they can be fixed internally. You disagree with it. Our votes cancel each other out. I have also stated what you can go find as proof to gain my vote.

In regard to my aspirations, if you guys want to take over the helm do it, get me a ton of money so I can continue to fly airplanes and farm my land in Texas. That would make me the happiest. The main reason I am involved is simple. Someone called my bluff.

I still think that you are very divisive and look for shock value in most of your writing. I prefer a more settle approach, and if that is interpreted at position shifting, so be it. I am willing to have guys continually educate me on all of the issues. I am grateful that many have taken the time to do so. The no doubt results in my fine tuning my stance. Same could be said about me on many issues, but trust me Carl, if I disagree with a position you know about it. Take DPA for an example. I have good friends on the opposite side of the issue, and I beleive that we educated each other.

In regard to DPA I am stating my concerns about traveling down a road like this.
