Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
That's true. I just don't want anyone to forget where the money is coming from for the next 9 quarters and beyond...the pilots' extreme sacrifices. Don't forget...don't forget!
Not if you don't fight for it! And certainly not if you do management's job for them by trying to lower your fellow pilots' expectations before Section 6 even begins! I'll tell you man, you wouldn't even be enjoying the low pay we're getting now if all of us old farts had your attitude years ago. Grow a freakin spine!

I am all for going for the exact contractual value at the table in which will be just below the number the company decides is not enough to go after in the next down turn/crisis. Do not mistake this for no spine.
No it doesn't. It just means they wouldn't have been able to pay down quite as much debt. Get your facts straight. Then stop doing management's job for them.
No, the bankrupcy judge agreed we were a variable cost.
I don't think you mean that at all. I think you're all about lowering the expectations of your fellow pilots so that you get noticed by management some day. Your "work" here is plainly obvious.

Carl, save the expectation drivel. How about you volunteer for ALPA again, quit dividing the group with DPA and get our pilots unified.
Some would accuse you of doing management's work by dividing the group as well.

That explains a lot...
No Carl, you will. You will take your Pension that you sold out the bottom of your list for (Compass AKA NewCo) and a few years of big pay rates. When you downturn comes you will either be retired or won't let the door hit you on the way out. You will be richer and I will be unemployed.

No Carl we did by voting yes to our respective 1113C contracts.

Things have taken a turn for the worse.
This thread needs some cheerleaders about now.

10 years later I am at a slightly higher % on the LAX 73NB. I would say that pretty much qualifies as 10 years of stagnation. A lost decade etc. Need I continue?

Oh well - at least I can once again drive to work.
