Makes sense. A couple of issues I'm going to set aside regard the higher monthly hours, and the sick time. I've not gotten into the 75% sick pay yet. Then again, I agree that for someone with a big problem, our sick policy, and our medical insurance, and our survivorship benefits are not adequate. Hopefully, that changes. As far as the hours, if you made more by virtue of working more hours... that doesn't really lead to any conclusions.
On the other hand, if you work more days for less total hours, which is a durty rig / trip rig problem, then that's of obvious interest for all of us. What kind of trip rigs and duty rigs did you have? Once upon a time, we had something called Variable Minimum, and I'm pretty sure we got no less than six hours per day. I can't even explain it offhand. Does anyone have the old rigs for C2K in digital format to post here? |

Scoop, If you haven't figured this out yet....
I'll assume you are using a PC (as opposed to your phone) to download as this makes it very simple. Go to your schedule on icrew (make sure you are using FireFox). At the bottom click on download schedule and save it to where you want it. It doesn't matter which format as Google will recognize both but I found ICal works best. Open your Google Calender, in the left tab click on add then select import. Find your calender you saved on your PC and click on import. That should do it. Hope this helps. Thanks - I got it. Scoop |

I understand that. So they should be penalized for their right to file interference claims? It is decisions like this by the company that will make flying with mixed FA crews very unpleasant for a long lime. As they say "been there, done that"
The fnwa FA's keep hearing about the "Delta Family" yet they continue to feel like they are being treated like the "red headed step child". They lost and now theyre screwing over their members who fund them. If the FA's are mad they should understand who to blame and thats nobody but the AFA and likewise for the IAM. |

Scoop When I click "download schedule" within Firefox I am not given the choice of downloading a file (ie. ical, etc). The only thing that happens is that I'm given a 4 digit PIN for icrewmax sync to my android. I can't figure out how to get my schedule into my google calander either. ranger |
Another question for ICrew max and google calendar guys. I have an Iphone and haven't had any problems getting the calendar to the computer or to the Iphone. However, I think I remember being able to make changes on my Iphone and they would show up on the google calendar........but now they're not. Do I have a setting set wrong somewhere or just a bad memory.

Agreed. What will AFA be down to without us?
Can they survive without us? Don't know but them fighting on does remind me of an Outlaw outlaw Josey Wales scene..............:D YouTube - Classic Movie Lines #66 I think if they push out another vote the outcome will probably be the same only a greater majority will vote against it this time around. |

Ferd I don't think changes made on your iPhone make changes to your google calendar. It's never worked for me. FWIW. |
I'm trying to get my brain around VM vs. 5:15 DPA vs. 4:15 per day. So far, it seems like anything but 5:15 DPA is painful on near-European trips, or any 4 day transoceanic.
As far as the 10:30 2-days that start early and end late, same problem. Since that sort of represents my category's flying, I'm not really turned on to the alternatives to 5:15 DPA. I'm open to suggestions, though. |
