The 5 hours of GS is pay only, NO CREDIT. Reserves on "rolling thunder" can make 30-50 hours of pay and earn 100+ hours of pay, but end up having little to no "credit" for the month.

i did that in december, basically only flew on my days off so the original days on ended up being days off and i got 134 hours pay. not bad for not losing any days off.

any of you guys pulling GS's commute to DTW? How do you make that work? Aren't most the GS last minute?
