The new I-Pad will be announced in a few days and some are speculating it will have a blue tooth phone app so you won't need a phone if you have an I-Pad. Also heard that ship sets will only be around for about 12-18 months then we'll have EFB's. I guess the test of EFB's is going well and I've heard that the I-Pad is leading the pack.

How's that for tying a phone app discussion to the I-Pad to good rumors at Delta?

FTB would be the only one allowed to search for photos. All of us will be given the APC app and will be required to use it. If the number of required posters drops below the minimum levels set by the APC MEC, then all of us will be allowed to post pics to get things rolling again.

NewK of course will be allowed to do things many of us have never dreamed of with the I-Pad.

With the new iPad E Flight bag the FAA will approve GPS approaches in the DC9 using the iPad if newK is CA. :D

Hey. If you guys want to start a discussion, can anyone give me some insight on how they are going to park the -9's? I mean do you think they are going to bump us all at once, or will it be a slow painful process, a little bit at a time?

I think they flushed ANC all at once, right?

I'm thinking they'll use the pull the band aid off the scab all at once method so that even though it will hurt, it's not drawn out.

However, with the training pipelines backed up on the 320 and ER, they may elect to only bump a little at a time so they aren't left in a situation where they need to keep some of the 9s a little longer and don't have anyone left to fly them.

So, I think they'll put the whole thing on the 365 day bid that is rumored to be out in May.
