Agreed. Main cabin shut and as long as they don't reopen then you're out.

If you hear that a Delta pilot bought a A-26 or B-25 then rest assured it was me and I won mega millions. Leaning towards that A-26... Douglas thing. :D

Back in college I got a chance to fly in the back of the all aluminum P-51 with the 9 on the side here:

The owner, Jimmy Leeward, lives in Ocala. Supposedly his dad gave him some advice growing up which was not to pursue a career in aviation, go make money and fly planes for fun. That worked out for him and me. :D

One thing I can't stand on the MD-88/90 is when the FAs block passengers from boarding so they can serve drinks to first class. First class can wait for the natural breaks in passengers to serve drinks. Otherwise, that's just 30 seconds gone, 1 minute gone ... on and on ... that you're losing when trying to make D-0.

Put in an FCR. Every one I have submitted has been read and answered.

Funny you say that. My brother and a couple of his work friends are DL 2+ Million Milers and they really appreciate a minute break between F and Y boarding to get situated and a drink before the onslaught. They say it really separates DL from WN.

To gather proper metrics on departure delays there should be three switches. Cabin door, cargo doors, and beacon/aircraft movement. D-0 should be on the cabin door, the rest would be for internal info. That way we should be able to determine where the problem lies and fix it.

Amen. Had an agent go off on me the other day because a previous crew waited "FIVE MINUTES!!!" after receiving final paperwork to get the beacon on. I tried to explain to her it had nothing to do with completing their duties but that they were one of the crews that actually follow procedure regarding the beacon. She didn't get it. And people that just flip the switch help mask the problem. They would probably have fixed it by now if everyone did it as it was supposed to be done.

And if they'd tag the crew with the delay, instead of the agents we could explain to them why their system is broken and exactly how to fix it, but I suspect they know we can't be intimidated the way the agents can.

Now that Republic has a single list, does that change their status in anyway that affects our scope clause? I remember the discussion we were having after the Frontier purchase. This should be more ammo for a grievance. Call your reps, I did.

Single list but still separate Operating Certificates, so no.
