Heyas,
I'm hardly a management apologist, but RA has always been one step ahead...the first to draw down a line of credit on 9/11, and the first to grab a billion dollars in credit for DAL before the credit markets collapsed. To see this team sitting and scratching their head signifies that NO ONE knows where this is going. The good news is that the discussion at the MEC meeting was how fast the airline can extricate themselves from RJs. Sounds like management has had it with the uneven quality and all the drama that goes with it. They've gotten EXTREMELY sensitive to the low customer rankings. Look for more cuts, and when they happen, it won't be day too soon. Nu |
This seems to say we're doing worse than others.

The numbers make sense. We are much bigger internationally than the other airlines. The international side of the house has brought our numbers down.

Since they cannot get out of the contracts of a few for another 17 years, I would see them push for them to get bigger jets. Some of the contracts expire soon, and they will not be renewed. I know that to be fact. |
