Did anyone else notice we can check-in for non-rev travel and print Seat Request Cards at home?

In seemingly unrelated news, I understand they are looking at a magic talking box that will call you with schedule changes! Or even send you words through the æther to your portable word box!

The Red Tailed Dragon had such witchcraft...the parchment describing it's mystical abilities was carbon dated at two thousand two anno domini.

Maybe we can get Indiana Jones on the case to uncover other such treasures!

How about for a scheduled Deadhead? Is there a way we can check in the day before to pick out a good seat online? I can't find anything that looks like a confirmation code on my pattern.

Nevermind, I figured it out.

I think with our record locator number and rotation number we can even send a boarding pass to our mobile device. Can't do that for non-rev travel yet, but it did say you could do it for crew travel.

At Continental you can go to their website, enter your last name, check in for any type of non-rev travel, choose your seat, print a boarding pass or send it to your mobile device, and never even talk to an agent at the airport. Would free up alot of time our agents waste on non-revs and it would be nice if we could do it without a record locator number.

You won't be given and thus be able to change your seat until cleared which rarely happens until at the gate. With loads historically high, I doubt you'll ever see a seat assignment until the gate nowadays.

CAL did not assign nonrev seats at the kiosk....the seats had to be released by the gate agent....
