It was really nice though - very, very quiet. 160 seats, 168,000 lbs MTOW...world's heaviest DC9. J 88 (90) A, ATL Should break up 88 and 90 flying totals for each rotation flown. |
Jesse and Justdoin;
Are you guys grads of the Citadel? If so do you live in the Lowcountry? |
According to section 4 C of the contract a reserve pilot gets paid his guarantee at
"the hourly rate of the highest paying aircraft model that all pilots in his category may be required to fly in the bid period, ..." |
I believe I read somewhere that you can get your sick leave balances renewed after being off on STD/LTD by writing the CPSC. Anyone know where I can find that info? Thanks

Another bit of VMI history is that They were the only School actually involved in fighting a battle. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2243/...7d2faba6c1.jpg of course check out this rifle from that battle. I saw this as a kid and remember thinking, wow, that couldn't have been good? http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2621/...37fa4eface.jpg |

On 15 May 1864 the VMI Corps of Cadets fought as an independent unit at the Battle of New Market. VMI is the only military college or academy in the United States to hold this distinction. I think the distinction is to fight as an independent unit? |

So as of 01 Apr, all 88 pilots in ATL on reserve are paid at 90 pay rates? I'm not trying to make it difficult, but I never connected those dots - good to know.
