Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Was in ATL for training this weekend and the rumor was "THIS week"... but then, the caveat to the rumor was last week the rumor was "this week"...
Can anyone tell me how to put in my training time into icrew or whatever for per diem for training? I thnk we get that for CQ and stuff like that right?

Go to ICrew. Pay/Hours....Expenses......Training Expenses.

Ok, but in doing so, "locals" would then lose the 6 "go anywhere" S2's they currently have (as would commuters choosing to partake in that option). I think the vast majority of locals wouldnt do it but whatever. As for this never happening, it's in the company's operational interest to make commuting more reliable as well as in the interest of safey. What I suggested, plus what you added, does both while giving commuters and non commuters a choice of which system to select without getting into the mainline versus DCI food fight (at least for now).
Not to change the nonrev chatter, but records called today to ask if I had a current pilot certificate as they didn't have one on file. Hard to believe they didn't ask that before they trainined me and allowed me to fly several hundred hours with passengers.
I had to mention to her this fact and she too thought it a little strange to be asking about my pilot certificate information at this point in my employment.
Ahh the attention to detail!

Just got the e-mail. First, how does this affect the financial deal with the MSP airport authority and second, where on the ATL campus is there enough room for all of the training?
Pretty soon we'll all be facing toward ATL 5 times a day and saying our devotions.
Seriously, I see the need to consolidate to lower the overhead, but having a little bit of room to flex training is a worthwhile cost. We have scheduled retirements coming up and after the May 10 AE, they're still digging out the training backlog on the A320 and the 7ER.
