If there are some out there without an ATP, I apologize, but I don't feel like writing paragraphs of exceptions.

This is only mildly TIC. Craft language to remove that weapon because it is BS. It is management's decision to "give" things to other employee groups, not ALPA, not DPA. If they don't like the cost, then they should admit that they made the decision NOT to "me too" the goodies. They certainly take the credit when they DO give out the goodies, tell 'em they have to take the flip side of that coin too instead of passing it off on us during negotiations.

Agree. If the Delta Air Lines CHOOSES to give something to the other groups, that's on them not something our guys should even acknowledge.

Finis, not so sure its a stupid comment. How else does anyone explain what AMR is doing? Even when every other airline is reporting staggering (airline terms) profits, they report a loss. Further, they go on to place the largest, most expensive aircraft order in history.

Every Company has ways of moving money on and off the books and is thereby able to show whatever they need to a particular audience. TYG may be on to something. We need to be somewhat unreasonable in our demands. It's not our fault that the company doesn't charge enough for the routes we fly, ultimately we're the only group that can really shut down the operation and the only one that it takes years to train.

If we don't ask, we don't get!
