It's 3am on the east coast, Tosh.0 is almost over, and it's insomniacs' bedtime. For some inspiration to the morning crew, I present Kate Upton:

Hey guys,
There's a DALPA survey on rotation construction on DeltaNet. Check it out. I took it. For LAX, they can't get much worse so hopefully it will help. Cheers! Buzz (sitting 3rd short call in last 5 days) No ****. I am considering bidding to the ER just to escape. Scoop |

I'm hearing from folks that they're telling the MEC we cannot pursue RAH holdings because our Section 1 is weak. Is that true? |

This is factually incorrect and it's intended to deceive Delta pilots into thinking that DPA is financially viable to commence Section 6. They aren't and they can't possibly be. Early openers are just 6 or 7 months away. If you ever tried to untangle that money and distribute it, you would have to go "first-in, first-out" so you'd have to find retired pilots and refund them their surplus before you could give it to anyone else. Do some quick math and figure out what the DPA promise of 1% does in half a year. Which is probably why the pan-handling has escalated in recent emails. I saw one where he asked people to donate a whole rotation's worth of pay. ROFL That's more than we pay to ALPA in a whole year. Is DALPA going to send it all to Herndon and to LM or give it back to the pilots whose wage dues created it? To me that would sure sound like DALPA is for ALPA or itself before it is for Delta Air Lines pilots, wouldn't you agree? |
And just from a strategic point of view Taternuts, that's Carl without a C, if the DPA did not get the war chest how would taking that money and keeping it away from the pilots help if down the road ALPA wanted to be voted back in?
Or would the hope be that Delta pilots would fail because they voted out ALPA? . |
One more question Tater, I noticed the near 6,000 pilots at SWA plus the incoming 1,700 from AirTran will be represented by the SWAPA. That's soon to be 7,700 pilots making more money flying 737s than our 747 and 777 crews make. That's a lot of pilots and a lot of money.
Is there a ALPA drive at SWA yet? And if so are their pilots receptive and willing to make that change? Now I've noticed that SWAPA is proud to pronounce on the public side of their forum that their pilots are the leaders of the airline industry! But our dal.alpa.org website doesn't promote us as the best? Are we not the best? Or is this indicative of managing our expectations? http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2406/...5b0c12cc65.jpg |

I do believe you are correct.
Basically she's naked, right? I don't understand body painting... After posting a massive picture of a cat playing the PS3 80 comes around with posting naked pictures of models. The question is, is that enough to redeem him for the massive picture of a cat playing the PS3? But now that you point this out I wonder how many pilots will be applying tonight to be a Body Paint and Make-up artist? :D |
