And just from a strategic point of view Taternuts, that's Carl without a C, if the DPA did not get the war chest how would taking that money and keeping it away from the pilots help if down the road ALPA wanted to be voted back in?

Or would the hope be that Delta pilots would fail because they voted out ALPA?

One more question Tater, I noticed the near 6,000 pilots at SWA plus the incoming 1,700 from AirTran will be represented by the SWAPA. That's soon to be 7,700 pilots making more money flying 737s than our 747 and 777 crews make. That's a lot of pilots and a lot of money.

Is there a ALPA drive at SWA yet?

And if so are their pilots receptive and willing to make that change?

Now I've noticed that SWAPA is proud to pronounce on the public side of their forum that their pilots are the leaders of the airline industry!

But our dal.alpa.org website doesn't promote us as the best? Are we not the best? Or is this indicative of managing our expectations?

Yeah Scoop, our trips are horrid. When you have the top five guys flying red eyes to Orlando, you know we're toast. When red eyes are the BEST you can hope for.....we have the AK code share to attribute that to. Our trips suck. I'm thinking about the ER as well. If I have to do reserve, might as well make a few more bucks for it. Take the survey and let them know!

Damn I knew I should have got an "Art Degree"...

Question: Can you have "Underboob" with a painted on suit?

After posting a massive picture of a cat playing the PS3 80 comes around with posting naked pictures of models. The question is, is that enough to redeem him for the massive picture of a cat playing the PS3?

But now that you point this out I wonder how many pilots will be applying tonight to be a Body Paint and Make-up artist?

And this is coming from someone who is still willing to take responsibility for ALPA's actions.

The opener will tell me all I need to know.

BTW, it's good to be back.
Thanks man. These guys throw out so much stuff, it's hard to keep up sometimes.

Seham is not telling his client what he wants to hear, he's following orders from the client. Again, I think USAPA is grasping at straws, but you have to admire a law firm that fights for their client to the bitter end.

This is your opinion, not USAPA's. To them, implementing that list would be far worse than what's happening now. They're the ones that get to decide whether their strategy thus far is a success - not us.

I've never said it was. I said that USAPA sees it as a success. There's nothing unethical about fighting hard for your client. If there had been a single example of unethical behavior, Seham's firm would have been sanctioned for it. That hasn't happened. But I know details like that don't matter to you ALPA "volunteers".

Speaking of ethics, did you apply for flight pay loss when you helped to disrupt the DPA during the ATL visit? Or did you just charge for the production of that video?

Yawn.

Factually incorrect? Care to post where the law allows for union dues budgeted to a local's pilots gets to be kept by the national union? I would help to represent the Delta pilots in that lawsuit for free!

No need to untangle anything. It's already budgeted and accounted for Delta pilots. It was and is the money of Delta pilots. If ALPA were to not agree, I know the IRS would show them the error of their ways.

It's about $15,000,000 a year in dues. Since we wouldn't be giving the majority of it to the regionals anymore, the $15,000,000 would be all for Delta pilots. Thus at 1%, it would be a net increase of dues revenue to be used for the representation of Delta pilots. Only Delta pilots.

That's more than we pay to ALPA in a whole year.
I've not gotten any email asking me for a whole rotation's worth of pay. Just emails asking for contributions if you can afford to. Maybe I missed it. Could you post the emails where DPA asked for a whole rotation's worth of your pay?

The longer I look at it, the more I don't like being shown yet another example of destinations I'll never get to visit.

Stop picking on ALPA legal! They'll make up for all those prior failures when they win the TWA case.

Oh wait...
