Good luck. Nothing like wasting an afternoon trying to get rid of malware.
She reminds me of a girlfriend at Auburn I never had.
I know. This one you can just hit the back button and go back to goggle and on the second try it works. I'll try that one too. I'm all about free virus stuff.
Well, I'm not a pro alpa pilot, but I am a pilot.
Scope: Scope recapture, sunsets all in writing and firm. No open ended AK codeshare, quids in place for mainline growth. All int'l codeshare brings at least a 1 for 1 equivalent seat miles to DAL.
Pay: swa plus for the smallest jet in our fleet graduated upward. 415c limit in 401k's for every pilot making $125k plus, greenslips pay double, GSWC pays trip drop plus double trip flown. All flying over ALV pays 1.5. Specific holidays (Christmas, Tgiving, supebowl, etc.) pay double. 6.25 hrs per duty day.
Reserve: 5 hrs credit for each s/c. 6 s/c max per rolling 30 day period, reserves flying receive trip/duty rig guarantees, 24 off in seven at home (not base) not hotel. s/c fully biddable.
Vacation: identical to fedex.
I've mixed sections a little, but it was to put related things where they share a theme.

I know I'm jumping into this late and I agree we deserve and should rightfully fight for these improvements, everyone must realize that these are MASSIVE increases in our contract and will be very difficult to attain. Again, I agree with asking for and fighting like hell to get them, but it will be a huge fight to get those kinds of increases. To highlight the "problem"; I think Delta made 1.4 billion in 2010, a very nice year. I suspect these improvements you list would increase pilot costs by at least that much or maybe more! Now how about getting these increases during flat years or money losing years??? Again, not disagreeing with you, just illustrating how far we have to go for restoration or achieving SWA pay. A HUGE undertaking
Average CAPT pay: $160,000
Average FO pay: $100,000
Average pilot pay (same # CAPT's and FO's): $130,000
A 30% increase would cost $130,000 x 12,000 x 0.30 = $466M annual increase for the company. They can afford it...let's make it so.

That's just one of the reasons he was a bad president. One of many.
No he's not OK with me. The letter is proof of what the former president of ALPA thinks of the Seham law firm. The ALPA apologists here seem to be hanging their hats on the hope of showing the Seham firm as the worst in history. Problem is, there's just too many facts to show otherwise. But I understand your angst when somebody shows you a few of those facts. I guess you have no other choice but to ignore the facts, and change the subject.
All great lawyers keep everything, and I mean everything. But again, it's embarrassing how you spin this as opposed to addressing it.
More sad spin. You just hate evidence I guess. CAL didn't get rid of the entire law firm. They just decided to re-join ALPA. Since ALPA has their own "law firm", there was no more need for the Seham firm. But please continue to spin away.
Ask John Prater and the two other signators to that letter. Are they all just lying in your mind?
The DPA is lucky to have the Seham firm. I don't know about their generosity, just their ability to fight and win.
Speaking of lawyers...
What part of exclusive representation involves half a dozen different areas of law?
SSM&P is a full service law firm providing representation in the following areas: Labor & Employment Law, Contract Interpretation & Negotiation, Entertainment and Intellectual Property Law, Real Estate Law, Commercial Litigation and Arbitration, Corporate & Insurance Law, Immigration and Naturalization Law, Transportation (Maritime/Airline) & Administrative Law, Utility Law
What really concerns me when I read about generosity is that somewhere there is probably a group like the McCormick Advisory Group that helped bankroll The AMFA Mistake not to mention the PFAA and others. Two emails in a row asking for donations to help them as they "have invested significant dollars in equipment, services and facilities." What happens when they run out of money? Is there a shadow group funding this operation? I don't want another AMFA here. You and I have been through that dance before. Chinese mechanics could easily be Chinese pilots this time.
