No picking up trips on reserve, only "regular" pilots can pick up from the swap board. Only thing you can do on reserve is "yellow slip" a preference for a trip you may get the next day or put in a green slip to fly on your days off.

You'll do much better getting contractual advice from the committee corner of the DALPA website.

That said, as a reserve you do not have the ability to pick up time off the swap board. You are limited to the various "slips."

SW, there is a document on the dalpa website called CA 09-12. Put it in the search engine and it'll find it. It's not completely up to date as there are a few MOUs that have been added but there is a lot of information in the 1100 page PDF. Best part you can keyword search through not only the contract but also through the layman's version of the contract from contract awareness bulletins to stuff like when scheduling calls, PBS guides, documents designed to help PMNWA (and a majority of PMDAL) pilots understand the DAL contract plus a lot of other documents focused on reserve.

If you haven't shot yourself first trying to log in and then get to the forums on the junky ALPA site.

Are you new? You cannot do much with your schedule on reserve. You will get paid 70 hours every month.

You fly airplanes for a living, and you can't log onto a website without the risk of personal injury? Wow.

Just saying that it is a complete pain in the butt and the website is likely designed by a 12 year old.

Unless you fly 80 hours, that is.
