Aka The Flight Attendant Jump seat! It lost that name as of late because finding a 120lb FA here at delta is like finding the ever allusive leprechaun in Alabama.

I'd much rather be something closer to a "pilot" than a systems operator.

Comfortable offices are for wimps.
Says a guy whose probably never flown an Airbus. Actually you're right, the sidestick is impossible to master and the tails are always falling off. What was I thinking?

But it does come with throttles that move, a yoke that moves so I know what the other guy is doing and all that... after all, we are there to fly the airplane are we not? I just don't like the idea of being engineered out of the loop.. especially by the French. But to each his own. I plan on finishing my career on the 767. If it gets replaced by some poodle loving, cheese eating surrender monkey designed flying transportation system, I guess you will move up a little faster.

Irish? Really?

My question is, did ACL get scooped on airplane order news?

Now I could understand your sentiment, I really do.

But we spend most of the time on autopilot anyways. Even on the 88 they want us VNAVing to the marker.

And the 767 still doesn't have a table with a 120 lb weight limit.

The Alaska guys don't have WB expectations. You don't think there would be some tall (30 yearish) fences?

Actually 80 did. He said every time the A330 lands the tail falls off and everyone gets malaria.

But I question his motives given that he said that right before the AE with the new ATL A330 base.
