Nothing wrong with wanting to spend more time with the dog. Especially if the dog comes attached to her.

But just watch out for the red flags. And this picture shows a lot of red flags:

Public service announcement brought to you by me.

I brained my damage trying to memorize the latest MD88 weights. It's a moving target.

FTB: A pox upon your house for bringing that website to my attention. Now I can't get anything done!

Reminds me of the TWA interview;

Q. Have you ever had sex with barnyard animals?

A. Do chickens count?

Those are some hot lookin' chix!

You're right on the overall impact, though. It's called the lost decade for a reason.

Youre probably right, I don't know how many actually were hired I just counted the number still here on the seniority list.

It truly is a lost decade, you're right about that.

Wow, nice greaser video of the LOT 767 landing wheels up in Warsaw. Inbound from EWR.

Heck of a way to end a long flight.

I'd be very interested to know exactly what caused that. The 767 main gear is designed to free fall into down and locked possition absent hydrolics.

BUT...what my 767 ground training instructor beat into my head (in 1989) was, if you lose all Electrics, you have about 30 minutes to get the gear down, otherwise the battery may die, and then you won't be able to lower the gear, as it takes an electric motor to remove the uplock pin, or flip the unlock switch, or something like that.

So, was it a hydrolic or electric problem or something else?

Nice!, I just checked and I moved up 58 (7800s). Good to see some movement, but still not going to save me from being displaced this next bid....

I thought the domestic 763s had that but not the ERs? That would have been an ER if it was coming from EWR right?

I don't remember what I hardly knew then. ;)

"I don't remember what I hardly knew then."

Me too!

Still, I wonder why no gear? I wonder which circuit breaker mx had pulled without the pilots knowing!

The domestic 767s can't freefall the gear. You are correct. If this is an 300ER, the gear should have been able to alternate extend. Developing ... standby.
