Sometimes we are our own worst enemy.

Why didn't you respond with "What about all those non 'heavy' drivers in the military? Are the C-21, G-V, Saberliner, etc guys not good enough to be a DAL pilot?" What moronic logic he had.

Are we shrinking more?

Maybe they are getting ready to announce a new JV with a British carrier.

Probably changing the gauge and you might have caught it mid upload. Go check the sked loads in the Marketing site.

It does look like they had bookings and the flights are cancelled though.

Probably the same ones I fly with it at my regional...I can count in the past two months at my regional flying with a retired NAvy Hornet Driver, an Army King Air (forgot what the military called it), and a Navy C130 driver. That's not counting the two Army Helo (both retired) guys I had the privelage of flying with.

They'll go to the best place hiring at the time and you won't be hiring if you continue to outsource.

I'm an ex Air Force guy and I'm happy to be here. On reserve sitting at home with my 4 month old son is awesome! Besides I flew the C-5 so it doesn't matter what I fly at Delta since all the planes are smaller.

not smart enough to post a pic of Freddie

Funny, I seem to remember while furloughed from Delta and at Gemini Air Cargo, we flew as a subcontractor for FedEx using DC-10s.

Kalitta does "santa claus" flying each year as well with 747s.
