Man why is the ER so junior in NYC? I got displaced off the 88B in ATL to the ER in NYC and I'm below 11,900

Because it is somewhat difficult to commute to reserve up there. But, congratulations, you will LOVE the jet, where it goes and the pay raise. When Air France implodes, you'll be in a good spot.

Bid awards are out. They held quite a few on the 737 ... ACL, told you so bud ro! They need to staff for 2013.

If we're really staring at financial Armageddon in the first quarter of 2012, there will have to be a clean up bid. Oil will be cheap, meaning more MD88 love.

These work well and they are cheap'ish for ANC and long lasting build quality:

I also use them when sitting behind an IO550. Uses the batteries up a little quicker under those conditions.

Yuck.

Speaking of junior, check out NYC7ERA. It's a couple hundred above me, and I'm now part of the chain that holds the plug.

It flies domestic, covers 3 airports, has expensive hotels, expensive transport, expensive food. Other than those, if you get a nice refrigerator box and set it up next to a mcdonalds dumpster, foodstamps might get you through.

It doesn't seem like they did a very good job at averting a huge training footprint.

Yeah wow, people getting displaced to it from everywhere. And a fair number NYC7ERB using a VD to get elsewhere.

To me, it's the early sign-in in LGA and late checkouts. It's the 10.5 hour three day trips. It's expensive hotels/crashpad/transportation in the New York City area.

California Dreamin'! 7ERA...

After 23yrs in Hotlanta, is living in socal exactly the same, only with an ocean nearby?

Also quite a few to the 330 with none out the bottom. More 330's and flying on the horizon?

Agreed. I would rather fly the DC-9 out of DTW than anything out of NYC. My first pick in NYC is the MD-88 to be as senior as possible. Luckily my name isn't on this AE, but I am pretty sure I am close to the plug in ATL now.

Are you from SoCal? It's nothing like living in Atl. I'm from SoCal now living in Atl and it's very different. If you whine about the traffic in Atl then you'll have a heart attack from the traffic in LA. Bumper to Bumper at random times of the night. You should start watching The Real Housewives of Orange County to get a feel for it. Ha ha
