I strolled off the plane back to my car. He continued on his 5 day. :) He's the one that brought up how he lost "years of seniority." When you say that to someone that is now two lower category airplanes removed from their previous status and still on reserve, you get what you deserve.
Most guys are feeling some sort of pain via a backwards movement or being bumped/closed out of their base (almost all fNWA pilots in MEM). Best not to stir the nest this morning. |

Let's not rehash this. I doubt you're going to convince many north pilots that the south guys took the brunt of the SLI (nor apparently vice versa.) Let the sleeping dogs lie.

Booted out of LAX again (just where I was in 2009)
Condolences to all my fellow displaced pilots! Cheers George |

You are getting bumped b/c you bid out of seniority! Even though you are an early '07 hire your seniority puts you about 60% 88B ATL. You are trying to stay on bigger/newer/higher paying equipment. Don't like, it bid what in reality you should be on!
Like 80, I'm tired of the negativity and the constant "I got screwed" mentality. Bid what you want, want what you bid, unless of course Sinca thinks it's above your station. |

I wasn't saying that the south guys felt the brunt of the SLI at all. He was trying to say that they took the entire hit of it. How incredibly ignorant. All but the very senior are feeling this...

I wasnt disrespectful... I just made sure he knew what actually has happened thus far. There's always something to agree on. What's worse is the "Delta's outsourcing is good for us, we need Delta to make money, lets duty in 30 minutes early and play stump the dummy trivia for five hours from the FOM VOLII and ARM errata" Que one of the D-ALPA Trinity (ALPA, Sailing and the holy Slow) to tell us we held the 767 "out of seniority", that DTW and MSP are good for us since it creates a junior category as everyone not frozen (literally, or contractually) bids Atlanta. |

The day has come where Newk is no longer a 9 captain for much longer. The question is, does he check his manhood at the door the last day he steps off of it? Can the atlantic ocean handle such a presence over it? Can Yurop handle what is the beating heart of American awesomeness strolling through its streets?
The Fly DC Jets Chior is refusing to comment on reports that Newk was awarded a new category in the recently published 09NOV11 bid. Self appointed chairman Forgot to Bid said he had no comment when confronted by an angry mob. Although no mob was seen and FTB offered no proof that he was actually confronted by a mob. "I've been advised by my counsel not to make a comment. So I have nothing to say at this time. Other than to say my counsel is now leaving for another airplane." Pulling out his iphone he pulled up a google images search to try and relay his feelings. The search was fruitless for a long period and this reporter decided to sit down. After a while he finally pulled out a picture. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_elSNlIwFgb...jets-vms-1.jpg "I guess it was inevitable given Delta's misguided stance on retiring the airplane that could do no wrong. I guess we'll find comfort in knowing we're still getting MD-90s and have a plethora of MD-88s. All of which," tears filled his eyes, "are still DC-9s on the pilots certificate. Newk leaving for a Boeing only gives the Boeing guys something to hang over our heads, and they've never been able to do that until now." Staring into the sky, a slight bit of overacting, FTB said: "But the one thing Newk should know, is, the Boeing 767-300ER has a problem with the inverted flight tanks. It won't do a Negative G push over. Even below one G, they risk a flame out. Operationally, they will do a zero to one G only." |
