Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Yes, BOS and DCA. That's what was said. Will it happen? Time will tell.
Happy New Years Homies! I'm off to fly for the next 9 days. If you're DH'ing, JS'ing or flying on non-rev, you'd better say hi. Let's make 2012 a year to celebrate at DAL!

If you any other APC bubbas have a MSP layover let me know, beers are on the new premium wide body boy

Buzz- I hope you have a great trip! Let me know if you bounce through ATL and I'll help you carry the football for a few.
Happy New Year all! Here's to a blessed year, big pay raises, a profitable company, and scope recapture! (not necessarily in order

Happy New Year everyone from a lurker! Anyone know if the "to remain nameless" hotel in Anchorage has ESPN? There is this little football game I want to watch on Monday.
Re. Rumors; of all the rumors I've heard over the years, 50% of the F/A rumors have turned out to be true, while 50% of the Pilot rumors have turned out to be false!
And 60% of the time, it works every time!
And 90% of winning is 50% preparation.
And when ever a DALPA guy has told me, "Don't worry, they would NEVER do that..."
They do it.
I have long tried to figure out why the F/A's seem to have better intel, and sooner, than the Pilots. My guess is, they have more and better friends in Marketing and as we all know, Marketing drives this airline. That's why our A/E's always take another 4-6 weeks to come out!
I have stopped trying to use any logic or reason when it comes to what airplanes fly out of what basses. I think most of the people in Marketing are married to PTC Realators and to them, "Change is good".

I guess F/A sources leak more than our own pilots in those positions. Problem with having Cadet Wing Commanders or what have you in charge, honor code or something. Ruins the fun. I guess on the 777 you get to talk to FA's beyond "here's the password... did you know the water isn't on... bathroom stinks... they're still boarding... are you ready... I have a write up... water still doesn't work... what button?"

All of that actually makes sense.

Anyhow, happy new years to my apc brethren. May the next year be filled with excellent quarterly earnings, a 100 set jet, home basing, an end to to mortgage crisis, and an end to outsourcing.
Then again, what would we have to talk about?!?
Happy New Years everyone. Take time to enjoy what's truly important.
