Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Bar;
I am posting this publicly so that you and everyone can see it. I know you are mad at what you see is an injustice. Though not part of the TOS, posting of a PM has always been deemed as unacceptable and the mods have edited them out. I suggest that the posts with PM's get deleted.
You posts have been noticed by the mods and admins. They know you are mad. You made your point. Now take it to a PM with Clee.

ACL,
If an "leader" is going to take a policy position, they should stand by that decision. Being offensive via PM is really no different than being offensive in public. In a position of leadership, EVERYTHING is in public. That is common sense.
Also, what you posted is not the "rules" you and I signed up for. If they are going to make the "Additional" part of the TOS, they should notice everyone.

What you posted is not what members agreed to when they signed up with APC. "Additional considerations" which were not in the TOS are now posted with the "rules." Which is it?
Pretty hard to debate if the rules change as fast as you, and I, can type.

It allows me to delete copyrighted e-mails and items that are violating the TOS without any red tape. Like it or not, it is a catch-all and it has been in there since APC's inception.
The issue of PM's has been a practice that the mods have upheld. If someone does not mind a PM being posted that has been allowed, but generally they are Private hence the name. I understand your angst wrt to Clee and him being the Site Admin, but for now the same practice stands. The mods and admins saw your posts, and the issue is being once again discussed on the Mod boards.
PG-13 – Parents Strongly Cautioned – Some Material May Be Inappropriate For Children Under 13. These films may contain sex references, up to four uses of explicit language, drug innuendo, strong crude/suggestive humor, mature/political themes, moderately long horror moments and/or moderate action violence. There are usually no restrictions on non-sexual nudity.
So, basically no one violated the TOS as it's written. Did anyone post nude pics? Nope. Scantily-clad, sure, but nothing you couldn't see at the beach. And frankly, a lot less than you'd see at South Beach.
So, again, what's the standard you're holding us too?
Naturally, the picture of the naked guy's butt is still up.
Added: Okay, ACL, finally the truth comes out. You guys can do whatever you see fit, despite the written rules we've been given. Care to clarify the standards for us, or do you just opt for the Supreme Court definition?

I do not believe that Clee was trying to be offensive by using the "respect" word or even inferring that it is part of the TOS. I stated as such earlier tonight via a different delivery method. It goes along this the same lines that this board has with overall professionalism.

Heyas Bar,
APC is as "Public" as they come, without even so much as a registration fee to slow down someone registering.
FWIW, and at the risk of getting me perma-banned, I recommended to a few people a year or so ago that we take our little gang and head to somewhere else that was a LITTLE more private, with no ads, and a hands off approach.
We could be a little more open because cards would be checked at the door, and I had a "blind" forum manager that would keep things anonymous.
But it was $10 a head, and no one wanted to do that.
Nu

Seriously though, that place is a little slow.

... and along the way they forgot where the content comes from that pays their salaries (at the top).
To clarify, the TOS are more restrictive than a PG-13 rating:

My definition of that is seeing nipples, areolas, genitals either though clothes or out in the open, or something that is generally unacceptable for children under the age of 13.
I know the slip that you are trying to play, but simply put, this whole deal has gotten the attention of all of the Mods and Admins. Simply put, they are not paying very close attention, have stated what is acceptable and what is not, and have warned some that if the the line is crossed bans will be given out. It is the desire of this boards managers to keep this board as professional as possible without losing the fun of it. The Mods have every right to do what they want with no explanation needed. I refuse to undermine their authority. Their decision as stated in the TOS is final. Same with the site admins.
It may irk a lot of people, but frankly a lot of people have pmed to state that they are happy with the crack down. In the end it is what it is. This is a great resource for Delta pilots, we all would like you to continue the longest running thread, abet, with a little more candor.
