Outstanding! I'm on-board with your thinking. Let us not forget, we ARE working under a concessionary contract (albeit with some improvements, and thank-you Negotiating Committee for those). Of course we don't negotiate in a vacuum, but SOMEBODY has to let the "air" back into this vacuum vessel we find ourselves in. Let it be us. The pilots of Delta Airlines. I sincerely hope that it is under the banner of Delta ALPA, in THIS section 6 negotiation process.

Don't get too excited, Just flew with a guy (Captain since year 5) who "just wants to keep getting yearly raises," "can't believe they pay me to do this" and "wife does our budget". He also didn't think scope was a big deal because, "I only have 5 years left". Hopefully the minority.

Don't forget minimum day, like a calendar day, of 5:15 minimum for flying, training, and vacation.

How about rounding it up to an even 6:00 per calendar day including training and vacation?

Well maybe you get to go somewhere fun, like BKK or HNL? That's got to be a vacation, right?

Actually no, but thanks for your help

Nevermind, figured it out. I thought it was a higher time trip than it was, it's not and below the line construction window. Then I gave it nothing that it could use to get inside the LCW. Oh well.........

I'm no expert, and I don't understand what pulled during shuffle means, but that rotation was less credit than the LCW minimum. Perhaps it pulled that trip during the shuffle when it couldn't find any other trip to add to it to reach the LCW.

The rotation you were awarded reached the LCW minimum.

I suspect you would have been awarded your first choice if you would have put in a LLW bid request before your other rotation requests.

Welcome to your new juniority.;)

Looks like you figured it out while I was typing. I'm so fast on the keyboard, don't cha know.

Yup, I think that's what happened too. Not only new juniority, but a category with no 1 or 2 day fillers.:D

Every once in awhile I fly with a young guy that says "I have 25 years left, I don't care about retirement medical". I hope they are in the minority.

Me Too! My "season" ended this week. Started with the LSU abortion on Monday and ended with the Saints fumble fest yesterday. Glad I was flying and didn't have to watch! It would have been too painful. Looking forward to next year already.
