This amazes me....
In 2011, there were 18 total P-56 airspace violations for flights departing DCA. Of those, 6 were Delta flights and 5 of those occurred in the last four months. Note I added most. I had to look it up but basically the southern boundary runs from the Lincoln Memorial to the west side of Kutz Bridge over that tidal basin then east to a direction you'd never be and of course north. The West Potamac park peninsula where the FDR and MLK memorials are below and outside the boundary. Personally me, I fly so I never have to go back and figure all that ^^^^ out. Like I said, most all. |

Most all guys I fly with are very very cautious with that thing and take it seriously.

I got a better idea. Why don't we bid on SC just like we do on EVERYTHING ELSE? That would force the company to reveal just how many SCs they use -statistically- on every... single... day.. of... the... year, and make adjustments accordingly. Extra SCs required because of weather or whatever, get premium pay.

Was his name Ferris Bueller? I think 87 hours per month average is probably about right. I once had a 125 hour month. 1 in 12 years. I have flown with Captains who were getting 140 hours of pay with multiple green-slips. I believe this. I have heard about 200 hour months - pretty hard to do but it is possible. I do not see how 300+ hours is possible. Even if you had an 88 hour award and then had your whole month replaced with green-slips with conflict (which is probably not mathematically realistic in a category over 150 crews) you would still be well short of 300. Please explain how this would be possible. And then sign me up for the 300 hour/month plan. :D Scoop |
Congrats cni187, what a game. I hope they win it all.
I say Saints win the Super Bowl if that last drive doesn't happen. SF is the only Def that could slow them down. |
Speaking of football...
As a DeltaCon guy, I sometimes feel like I'm trespassing here, but in honor of the evisceration of a football game which is in progress, I felt this is worth sharing in case anyone hadn't seen it:
