You can go directly to netbenefits.com (takes you to Fidelity) and make the changes. Login & click on "Contribution Amount" for the Delta Pilots Plan and follow the links to "Other Contributions" for Profit Sharing.

This brings up something that I would love for you guys to explain to me. I hear a lot of complaining about 24 hour SC. Why is that bad? If you are sitting a 24 hour SC, you can only do one every other day at the worst.. (Don't get me wrong, I think that SC should be paid more.. but that is a different subject) whereas if you can only do 12 hours.. or 14 as in the new regs.. you can essentially be on SC for 7-8 days in a row.. Why is this "better"?

Does anybody remember where you go to elect to have your profit sharing check put in your 401K. Thanks in advance.

You wont find that on the Flight Operations DeltaNet page .. you must go to Corporate.

The easiest way to do it is just go to fidelity.com. On your portfolio summary page, click on "Select Action" on the Delta Pilots Plan account. Then select change contribution. You will have the option of Pre-tax 401k, Post-tax 401k, and Roth.

Hope this helps ...

No, not exactly. The SC can run across different days 3:30pm to 3:30pm. When they give it to you again at 3:30pm ... you've done two days of SC over 4 days.

Good times.

Its really bad for commuters. If you can do LC from home but not SC then you are looking at that many more commutes and hotel/crashpad expenses.

The really lousy thing, they don't ever want to use their SC pilots. Only been called out twice in 7 months.

Dude, you crack me up! At least you got to stay on the Airbus, but welcome to the commuter world.

Here's how it can go - and has happened to me in NYC.

Sunday (off day): Check schedule at 1500, SC next day at 0500. Commute to NYC on day off.
Monday: SC from 0500 to 0500 on Tuesday.
Tuesday: End SC at 0500, no trip. At 10am, they assign SC for the next day. Surprise, you get it again! Can't commute home because I have SC the next day too early to commute in.
Wednesday: SC from 0830 to 0830 on Thursday.
Thursday: End SC at 0830, commute home only to find a 3 day trip on Friday. Report time? 0700. Turn AROUND, commute back to NYC.

Rinse, repeat.
