Ahh. Of course. Delta pilots favorite past time. Flying into unsafe meteorological conditions unnecessarily.

So what's more likely to be a direct causal factor in this case if the plane crashes?

Complete this sentence. "The NTSB determined the probable cause to be ___________"

My guess is that it would start with "...the pilot's..."

What are you trying to say? That you're a bad sucka because you signed a release into a typhoon? Sounds like winning to me.

a ME TOO campaign would be briliant. and it provides the company and union cover if they say they just brought our pay to parody instead of giving pilots a 40% pay after pay restoration.

the only question, do we have the proof? as in can someone get the pre chapter 11 pay of FAs, mechanics and rampers so we can ensure a me too campaign is true and therefore effective?

i love the idea.

Not sure if "bringing our pay to parody" was intentionally or inadvertently funny. Either way, it's funny. I'd prefer "parity" with FEDEX.

Jumpseat Question? Hey guys trying to get out of PHX on DAL today. Was not planning on riding the jumpseat, but flights went from having 25 open seats to oversold overnight. Only way out is the jumpseat. My issue is I have been on a 10 day motorcycle trip and planned to wear jeans and a polo shirt home, do you think they will let me on? Plan B is to stop at Costco and pick up golf pants if I need to.....

Don't put somebody in the position of having to bend the rules for you. Spring for some new pants. You can always use another pair of pants.

Depends on the Capt. you get........Myself, if I had to get out of town today, I'd probably go with plan B and take the chance out of the equation. Good Luck!!

You guys are right! I didn't think about putting the Capt in the bad position of having to bend the rules to get me on. Thanks for the quick feedback.

nwaf16dude 04-04-2012 09:39 AM
