I'm applying. Looking for a place with career advancement opportunities--rather than the extended and indefinite stagnation here. Thanks again, DALPA.

I've got 69 hours for the month so far -- on reserve, with a raw score near 150 and in the third bucket. What are my obligations? At what point can I say I'm done for the month?

Depending on how many days you have left, break you off a piece of dis noise.

Day 1. 24 hour short call.
Day 2. Non commutable "commuting dead zone" long call.
Day 3. 24 hour short call, unable to release in time for last flight home even though they have 3 times the required reserves.
Day 4. One day off.
Day 5. Non commutable short call.
Day 6. multi day trip that gets into base late.

sorry to bring this up again, but this contract extension rumor has serious legs. I just had a capt ask me what i thought of the company's extension offer. When i said i had only heard rumors, he claimed it was discussed by the lax lec a few days ago. Anyone know of this being confirmed at a lax lec event? He stated the company offered a sizable pay increase but asked for more big rjs. The sad thing was he then tried to convince me it was a good offer! There are guys out there who will sell out the bottom half...beware.

no deal!!!!!!!!!!

Gloop,

There's no money in freight, so we outsource it.

There's no money in flying small jets, so we outsource it.

There's no money in the shuttle, so we outsource that to the small jets.

Well, 3 down and 7 to go to make our version of Dave "sex with subordinates above the studio" Letterman's Top 10.

well, not exactly...

Or, if the bat went potty in the RJ, that would make them "bat $#!+ crazy RJ's" amirite?

NICRO Properties WOW......DESIGN, APPEAL AND OF COURSE LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! - Acworth, Georgia

Liked this one, but it sold:

NICRO Properties SOLD! 5222 Bridgewater Drive - Acworth, Georgia

All the East Cobb stuff gets gone in a hurry. Here is one in an awesome neighborhood / location. This is it for right now:

NICRO Properties 4501 N Slope Circle - Marietta, Georgia

Wow. That last one is the subdivision right next to mine. Absolutely love the area and you can't do much better than Mabry/Lassitter when it comes to schools. Mark me down as another strong vote for NE Cobb County.

Yeah, although with what, 14 billion in RJ's purchased at housing bubble peak prices, over bought and over committed, 2 billion for Comair plus another billion dollar strike and a slow write down to less than zero, 1.5 billion for ASA only to immediately flip them for 400 million, all the operational dis-synnergies inherent in a 7 or 8 stepchild conglomerate monstrosity, a self induced Pinnacle BK/bailout, the stain in our britches from the Mesa experiment and now GoJets, directly subsidizing Frontier and a mass transfer to Alaska (effectively writing down much of the value of a previous merger) wherein we supposedly don't share revenue for the segments they fly makes a pretty strong case for "there's no money in outsourcing".

And that's just domestic.

Or maybe the MBA Factories are spitting out grads on par with the legions of basket weaver majors with double minors in self esteem and feelings because when you look at the raw numbers of their little outsource experiment over the last decade and a half, not even Charlie Sheen would call it winning. Even David Hasslehoff eating the cheeseburger off the floor while his crying daughter taped him and put it on the internets would be like "daymn doods, that's sad."

Omg the media is so freaking stoopid.

The bat got away, so there was no way to know if it was rabid. One way to tell was if one of the pax went rabid, or as my Dr. once told me, "I'm stumped, we'll know more at the autopsy".
