I doubt it. If it passes, then ALPA stays, if it doesn't, then we have a chance to either recall our reps, vote in new guys during an election, or keep the ones you got if you like them and they run again. DPA isn't a credible alternative and I doubt we'll join the IBT. JMO
No, that sure isn't a good idea. But it'll be critical for you to stand strong and vote NO Brocc. You and every pilot on the bottom half of the seniority list need to vote NO if this is what the MEC ends up ratifying. If 100% of the bottom half votes NO, then it's NO...because you've definitely got my NO vote here from the top half.

Just curious.. what would that price be? I mean we are downgaging aircraft with every order.. so what WOULD the right price for a piper cub be? Or more appropriately, a 76 seat RJ?

FWIW, I've never heard any of the Reps I've spoken with mention changing a single thing in response to the DPA.

Using that argument, could one say campaigning/voting against incumbent elected government officials "undermines their work?"
That would be a bit dictatorial/undemocratic, don't you think?
The concept here is "accountability." It's in short supply within the ranks of DALPA and ALPA.

Funny how the last eight pages of this thread has been filled with everyone getting fired up over "Carl's rumor mongering".
If any of what Carl wrote was true, maybe he'll share the names of the Reps he talked to so we can verify for ourselves?
Carl, what's your source? (Other than "from talking to three different reps, the evidence is pointing to the opportunity" BULLSH!T.)

I thought you were leaving? What brought you back? The need to offer more useless drivel about conspiracy theories and black helicopter stuff?
Just so you know, "they're still following you, you just can't see them"!
