That is just awesome. Glad I was not landing there that day.

Is that the same as "CONFIG FLAPS"?

That picture must be photoshopped... all those elevators should be pointing in different directions.

I'd rather be a reserve gear yanker at DL making more money, with a better retirement package.
Fret not. I had over 8k and 6k pic 121. There were pilots hired with over 13k.

Scambo, some of the news reports indicated the refinery is going for 100 million or what we invested on GOL.

Actually, all of those airplanes are parked. #5 had a MX guy recently fire up the aux hydraulic pump. Its flaps will look like the others in just a few minutes.

I'm thinking that is about the same as my share of last weeks megamillions
I'm thinking 100M is a high number. It might be the all in cost with all upgrades, epa issues and licences, etc, but may be high even with all that.

Funny thing, millions, when you forget all the zeros, you can lose millions. My AFB spent $3.4M to redo/rebuild the front gate. Top dollar guilty as charged bid that I could have even mustered with 100% profit was $440K. It took the contractor 13 months to do a 1 month job. Gotta watch those zeros.

Anyways, congratulations Padre11%, you've made that list. Thanks for spending time with us but I think your time is better spent figuring out how you're going to ask that one special girl that will appreciate your indepth knowledge of all things Delta to the McIntosh High School senior prom in Peachtree City.
DARN - I was too late today to be the first one to IGNORE HIM.

It makes me wonder when I see a pic of an F-18 sitting there with the flaps down... do they droop too? Is it a MD thing?

I had a little maintenance action going on the other night, got to see the slats and flaps in the landing config position during the walk around and man that little wing is huge with those slats and flaps out.
